When asked what Trudeau’s office meant by a “meeting” with Biden, Psaki pulled out the snarky condescension card and said “you can meet over video, as we all know!”
Of course that is Psaki simply pretending to not understand why the question is important.
In person meetings have many advantages for building relationships, especially between world leaders with obvious concerns about privacy and information leaks.
Everyone understands this, and Psaki’s feigned ignorance is very odd.
Psaki continued “I would anticipate, for all of you that, it will be a couple of months before the President has an in person, or invites a foreign leader to meet in person here at the white house.“

So the question is – WHY?
The president and everyone around him is vaccinated. COVID is simply no longer a legitimate excuse for the President of the United States to stay locked in the basement.
There is obviously another reason that Biden’s handlers are keeping him in very tightly controlled private settings.
